---- Previous meeting notes ----
Sabbath 5 of May - Paltalk service with Abrahamic-Faith, from 10:00 to 2:00PM Discussion of the history of the African peoples the world over, their connection of Israel, and how these peoples fulfill many particular prophecies of judgment that came on the entire nation in ancient times due to their rebellion against the principle of the Torah, a judgment continuing in many nations. This paradigmatic view puts the two house pillar to the side in favor of a unified Israel commonwealth of Black nucleus Hebrews and all those who join with them honoring the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, as well as adopting the lifestyle of the Torah, as best as it can be done in this Diaspora. These studies are in Paltalk, and are useful and educational in that it outlines the various views which have been suppressed and of which the growing movement of Black Hebrews subscribe, and have considerable weight of evidence historically.
Sabbath 21st of April - Paltalk service with Abrahamic-Faith, from 12:00 to 3:00PM Discussions centered around the various historical accounts of the misfortunes and troubles of the darker skinned people groups as they have suffered under imperialism and been pressed into slavery and many other evils that befell them and still plague them today in many western countries dominated by the sons of Japheth in this paradigmatic view. This also fits into the Patriarchal orientation that was stamped out to the best the Catholics could muster under the religiously guided missionizing that occurred both to the Indians and various other people groups of darker skin the world over. More comments on lifestyles of the bible figures, the Lilith connection, and many other ideas that are greatly needed in this Hellenistic era.
Sabbath 14th of April - Paltalk service with Abrahamic-Faith, from 12:00 to 3:00PM. Very good discussions and some excellent teaching points brought forward by Kefa out of San Antonio. This groups would be classified as staunchly patriarchal, Torah positive, Hebrew Roots, Nazarene, and Messiah Yahushua believing and professing. If you have an interest in learning about these meetings, please email Rabbi Smith at shul@hmisrael.net . There are many people who cannot fellowship because they have no fellowship locally, and their only medium of fellowship is internet related. Also, due to the Hellenism rampant in all religious organizations, including many so called "Messianic" groups, people of a scriptural supported Patriarchal orientation are increasingly being denied access to fellowships that call themselves "Jews," but do lie when its clear their lifestyle, teaching, and other Halachot are indeed antithetical to scriptural principles found in the Torah. These three groups are termed the Goddess Worshippers, Hellenists, and the Priest-Crafters. Each of these groups has a particular identity, but you will not find them in the Abrahamic-Faith assemblies most likely, nor in the NYA family of fellowships as the Torah principles taught and enacted upon are untenable to these three groups of peoples.
PESACH THE EVENING OF THE 6TH OF APRIL, NEAR AIKEN SC FROM 6PM-12AM This was a good time with some friends. we had a wonderful meal and went through a Passover program with some additional comments and teaching points.

Rabbi Simon Altaf teaching in Paltalk, from 12PM-3:00PM on the proofs that Yahshua is the promised Messiah. www.Paltalk.com , download the program and send us an email to get on the notification list when these teachings occur. Also Paltalk is an excellent place to hear many other teachers and other perspectives, which you will have to weigh scripture carefully to see whether what is being presented is true or not.
March 23rd, Friday Night Orangeburg 6:00 PM, Vayikra Parsha read and discussed, the various sacrifices and the things related to those topics.
A Rood Awakening, Michael Rood presenting on the Lineage of Yahshua discovery from the Hebrew Matthew, March 16th, at 8:00PM 2012 online web-cast from Israel in REAL TIME.
Paltalk Studies with Rabbi Simon Altaf will post notes as they become available. Excellent study with many interesting point, where there were nearly 160 people listening in.

(Disclaimer! I was invited to this revival meeting, and as my practice is, I sometimes foray into church'dom to get an idea of what the blinded house of Israel is teaching and how they are practicing their myriad denominational slanted religion. We of course do not agree with everything presented, although we can say that the speaker did a half-way decent job of presenting 1 primary element of the gospel, though it certainly was not the full gospel taught by the early Apostles in the first and second centuries) Monday Night "Revival" meeting at a Baptist church, MONDAY 12th of january 2012, 7:00PM with evangelist Dan Potter

The order of service was as follows: Hymn, "Living by Faith." Welcome by Pastor. Hymn "Bringing in the Sheeves." Hymn "I will Praise Him." Opening Prayer. Choral Arrangement, 7 Members. Solo song sung by a young lady. Evangelist Dan Potter giving the message. The Message was as follows: Text from II Samuel 12:1-7 And YHWH sent Nathan unto David. And he came unto him, and said unto him, There were two men in one city; the one rich, and the other poor. The rich man had exceeding many flocks and herds: But the poor man had nothing, save one little ewe lamb, which he had bought and nourished up: and it grew up together with him, and with his children; it did eat of his own meat, and drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was unto him as a daughter. And there came a traveller unto the rich man, and he spared to take of his own flock and of his own herd, to dress for the wayfaring man that was come unto him; but took the poor man's lamb, and dressed it for the man that was come to him. And David's anger was greatly kindled against the man; and he said to Nathan, As YHWH liveth, the man that hath done this thing shall surely die: And he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity. And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus saith YHWH God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul;
I read over this passage and the thing that came to my mind was that it was very interesting that Dan stopped at verse 7 as verse 8 has some very interesting things to say in and of itself. It is also interesting that David, the King, came up with a four fold equation for compensating someone for harm done to them. We know of two equations in the scriptures .. Prov:6:31: But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house. There is another place where the equation is 2 fold return in a circumstance. The evangelist continued on citing 3 things that he gleaned from this passage above. 1) That YHWH was concerned about David 2)YHWH was concerned for Himself 3) that YHWH noted that David despised His Name and caused the enemies of YHWH to reproach His Name. The evangelist then went into a long discussion of how David committed adultery and how what David did was "stealing," as Adultery is tantamount to stealing (all things we vigorously agree on though the implications of the notion of stealing and ownership have been completely lost on these people, as the very notion infers a patriarchal order of ownership of wives and children, which thing most Western countries eschew in favor of the Greek model of egalitarianism, of which the website for this church comes right out and admits it is an adherent of it!)). However, the evangelist attempted to make extrapolations from the text and assumptions that did not cohere with the text and what the implications are of the text. He attempted to interweave the typical Baptist doctrine of marriage and family assumptions into the text. However, in all of his discourse, I would have loved to have stood up and asked him "what if Bathsheba was "not" married and not living under her father's roof?" Would we even have a story today? Would Nathan have been so hastily dispatched by the GREAT EL ELYON? The clear answer is "no." At any rate, this impacts our definitions of Adultery, Marriage, Divorce and a host of other laws that are written in the Torah to either pick and choose as the churches do, or fully confirm (Deut:27:26: Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.) OR deny them (either of which would be the position that has some degree of integrity in contradistinction to the cracked and mold infested positions of the protestant denominations.) The evangelist rightly noted that David got started down this sad and sinful path by not going out to battle like the other kings during his time, but was hanging around the palace and his eye caught sight of Bathsheba bathing on the roof of Uriah's house. 1Cor:7:2: Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.... was quoted and the point made that marriage should be protected and that we should focus in on the part where it says "own wife," (though it is interesting that the example of David was used, for by the time that the events with Bathsheba happened, David has multiple of his "own," wife (s)). The notion that the Evangelist presented was adultery destroys a marriage (rightly so if David had but one wife and he was a Baptist, but did it honestly destroy the marriages he had with his many other wives, as the Torah regulated (and no where denied elsewhere in the scriptures) and which the practice by rich kings was common?) It is interesting further that the evangelist suggested that Satan brings anything that is outside of the Baptist myopic notion of one man and one woman, as they define nothing else as marriage. Yet the glaring inconsistency is seen in Verse 8 of the passage that Evangelist quoted 2Sam:12:8: And I gave thee thy master's house, and thy master's wives into thy bosom, and gave thee the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that had been too little, I would moreover have given unto thee such and such things. If indeed the Evangelist is correct, and everything outside their myopic notion of marriage comes from Satan, how can this fellow reconcile what clearly the GREAT I AM is saying to David, that all the marriages he had was from HIM? Yes, the Baptists need to close their bibles on the books Malachi back to Genesis and focus instead on the letters of Paul rather than attempt this kind of hodge podge doctrinal chicanery. We might further note the parallel of the two houses that split up as related to a situation where a wife is being impudent, stubborn, rebellious and so on and YHWH could very well raise up a "rival," to counterbalance the first wife's rebellion and all any man or woman can read about it is "this thing is from me." (---- the "me" being YHWH, as written in 1Kgs:12:24. Even more we might note that today, the House of Judah (married to Yahshua) and the House of Israel (married to Yahshua) are vying for their husband's attention because the House of Judah was not behaving herself and being in subjection to the principles of the Torah, of which now Judah is seen to cause "vexation" to Ephraim (the major tribe leading the House of Israel and his companions). Isa:11:13: The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim. One thing we can give the Evangelist credit for is his use of Paul's statement as pertains to the duties inherent in the marriage relationship. 1Cor:7:5: Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency. Which scripture is barely used in most of the protestant denominations, yet is quoted here in this small Baptist church. I realize that for their disjointed and misapplied doctrinal beliefs, they at least realize that there are certain requirements in marriage that are to be guarded, which is good along with the overall theme of protecting marriage, promoting marriage (at least their myopic version of it) and getting the younger people to make a purity pledge (very good idea!). A poll closed the service with the questions of how many people commit to their notion of the purity pledge, how many people accepted the propitiation of Messiah's atonement over their lives (no doubt the pastor should be surprised that I raised my hand along with the rest of the people there?) and the Evangelist gave the closing prayer. After this, the senior pastor made some closing remarks as a sort of altar call, with the question as to what it takes to go to Heaven. He gave some personal testimony citing how when he was young, he noticed that no matter how he tried to be good the more bad he was. Paul does reference this dynamic in the believers life by saying Rom:7:19: For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do... The Pastor went on to quote Rom:3:23: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of YHWH. He asked if anyone had sinned, told a lie. He quoted Rv:21:8: But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.... and the Pastor gave a good account of how everyone at one time or another has sinned, and the sin is worthy of death in YHWH's economy. He went on to state that the only thing that can save an individual from their sins, in a confession of faith in "Jesus Christ," (as he is misnomered in church'dom) and it has nothing to do with works. We might agree on this point, but the question becomes, what does one do "after" they make a full confession of their sins and accept the Messiah into their lives? we recall the four things that the Jerusalem council said that the gentiles were to do, at minimum in order for them to have admittance into the congregation of YHWH - Acts:15:20: But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood. If the Pastor had his way, all the congregation would stop right there because after all, it is only a confession of faith, and works have nothing to do with it (other than the admitted four things that I know of no Pastor who would deny) YET, they forsake to read the very next verse and look at the very clear implications of it - Acts:15:21: For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath day. So what is the point acknowledging the preaching of Moses, in context of the gentiles having access to it after they agree to keep the four basic things of Acts 15? The clear answer that the Baptist church is missing is that there is "more." In fact, lots "more." As we can certify by the hours that the brothers and sisters who have come out of kindergarten denominationalism into a more full and proper faith, typified by what the Prophet John saw can testify - Rv:12:17: And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of YHWH, and have the testimony of Yahshua Messiah. The service closed with a concluding hymn, and as I made my way out with the people who invited me to this service, the senior Pastor was there, and of all the people who went by before me, I was the only one I noticed he made a point to hand me a tract. Could it be because I was wearing numbers 15:38 Tzit Tzit, a hat, and I had a beard? I will probably never know. I have attached a copy of the tract the Pastor gave me for your perusal. As you go over it, please keep in mind what our departed and beloved Apostle James has to say of the notion that faith is the first all, and end all of our faith - Jms:2:20-26: But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed YHWH, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of YHWH. Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
The Victory Baptist church could take a note from that one.
Friday March 9th , roman
2012 6:00PM-11:10PM Orangeburg
Location, Erev Shabbat service with a full reading of the Parsha and
discussion line upon line. Ki Tisa 10 Mar. 2012 16 Adar 5772 Exo. 30:11–34:35 Joshua 3, Matthew 2 This
study was full of interesting elements including the events of the
golden calf and how YHWH nearly destroyed the Israelites who had just
come from out of their bondage in Egypt. Moses has the Levites come
over to him, and they are sent to break up the raucous partying that the
Israelites are engaging in after they decided the Moses was taking too
long up in the mountain. Aaron bows to the pressure apparently and
gathers their gold ornaments and creates these golden calves for the
Israelites to worship and do sacrifices to. The glory shining
that necessitated a veil be put over the face of Moses since he was
communing with YHWH, and the shekinah affected his appearance.
Excellent fellowship and study.
Thursday March 8th, PURIM CELEBRATION Orangeburg, SC 29115 7:00PM Watching "One NIght with the King." An
excellent portrayal of the events that are recounted in the book of
Esther. The theme of Purim is very relevent ot us today as beleivers in
Messiah as there are certainly Hamans out there waiting in the wings to
seek opportunity to destroy the seed of Abraham out of the earth today.
We are reminded of what happened to the House of Judah sojourning in
the modern state of Germany in the 1930's and how one man rose to
power when economic times were tough and the German people were victims
of the politics of desperation and the ugliest elements of mankind's
character came forth to the destruction of millions of Jews, as well as
many other groups of people deemed "unwanted" by Hitler and his many
cohorts. We know however, that YHWH sees and is in control of
everything, and guards the "apple of his eye," with extreme prejudice
so even "if" Esther had not done the courageous things that she did to
appeal on behalf of the Jewish people, deliverance would indeed have
come from another place, as Mordecai reminded her. And so we also know
that deliverance will come to the commonwealth of Israel, especially
those who are beleivers in Messiah Yahshua at the end of time, known in
the scriptures both as the "time of Jacob's Trouble," and the "Great
Tribulation." All of these things should be taught to our children so
that they may never forget.

25:1–27:19 Joshua 2, Revelation 3 - Very
good study overall with several interesecting elements that several
people brought out. The story of Rachav who was a harlot but who
obviously married an Israelite after her deliverance due to her
righteous act of hiding the Israelite spies in Jerico earned her a
place in the Messiah's lineage, many things we can extrapolate from
that.
Friday, February 10th, roman
2012 6:00PM-11:10PM Orangeburg Location, Erev Shabbat
service with a full reading of the Parsha and discussion line upon line. Yitro/Jethro
Exo. 18:1–20:23(26)* , Joshua 1, Matthew 1 - Very
good reading and discussion over various topics related to the portion and the
scriptures in the Brit Chadasha as well as the haf-Torah/Prophets and Writings.
Some possibility that if the group grows and there are more opportunities for
study, we might open a Shul that will study the book that did not make it into
the canon, the accepted 66 books of scripture that most people accept today. The
lineage of Yahshua discussion and the stories found in the genealogies. Joshua
was discussed as well and some comments about the four times that the Israelites
are tolsd to be Strong and Courageous which is a common theme in the scriptures,
as our forefather Jacob wrestled with the Angel and prevailed, being renamed
Israel, meaning a Prince who wrestles with Yah and prevails. So also we have to
wrestle in this world and overcome as the book of Revelation admonishes.
Friday, February 3rd, Roman 2012 6:00PM-12:30AM Orangeburg Location, Erev Shabbat service with a full reading of the Parsha and discussion line upon line. Tetzaveh Exo. 27:20–30:10. Excellent discussion unhindered by the priestcrafter restrictions that many wish to place on the naturally un-infringed and unhindered Word of YHWH. Several comments and good natured discussions relating to the garments, and other articles of the Tabernacle that Moses was commanded to make that Aaron and his sons could minister in the Kadosh place. Also a great meal and fellowship followed.
September 19th afternoon, Hebrew Study, Text A Practical Grammar for Classical Hebrew by Jacob Weingreen 1-8 Methegh, Milra, Mil'el and introductory to Sheva.
December 2010- September 2011. Hebrew classes have been delayed due to the need for a kidney transplant which YHWH graciously provided on the 10th of January 2011. Although the transplantation was not without complications such as necrotizing pancreatitus which put me in the hospital for over 5 months, I have been delivered by the healing hand of Almighty YHWH and am recovering. We have since moved to Beaufort SC (and since from there to West Columbia and from there to Orangeburg SC) where I hope we can find fellowship and opportunities for study of both Hebrew and the Scriptures. Thank you for your prayers and support during these trying times - Bro. Gregory Smith. 803-937-0148 , email: shul@hmisrael.net
